The plant sale this year went off extremely well. We grossed $1,361. Wayne will be proud of us. I believe this might have been our best year ever. That is mainly because of each of you participating in our sale. We had a great group of folks who worked the event doing setup and meeting with the public. But it would not have come off if we hadn’t received all the plants we did. THANK YOU ALL VERY MUCH.
Since the Master Gardeners could participate in the sale after 10:15 am (most of the public were gone by then) we did not have as many plants left over for the plant swap. The plant swap will be on our regular meeting date, Thursday, May 14th at the Twin Lakes Pavilion, in lieu of the meeting. So if you’d like to trade, please bring more plants to swap on that day.
If you are interested in participating in the planning stages for 2016, we will plan to have a recap meeting after the Plant Swap either at Twin Lakes Park, weather permitting, or at the library. I’ll be glad to co-chair next year but I’d like to find someone willing to chair the 2016 Plant Sale.
May your heart stay happy and your hands busy,
