Wow, we got a lot done! At the big welcome sign at the entrance to Bull Shoals White River State Park, we did some trimming and renewed some of the labels that had faded over the winter. Plus we placed a sign, designating that this was a Baxter Country Master Gardener Project. We did the same to the next welcome sign. More renewed labels were needed here and again we placed our project sign. At the Big Spring Park we finished cleaning up the lower garden and watered all three of the gardens there. The Trout Dock got most of our attention. We planted some flowers and shrubs and spread some top soil there. We also started on pruning some of the shorter trees we could reach. Next time, we should be able to finish the pruning and maybe spread some mulch. Goodness, we all were tired and dirty! Many thanks to Rod Gilmore, Pat Babcock, Rose Matta, Lisa Wolf, Pat Birmes, Margareta Schmutzler, and me, Betsy Durham.
